CROSSING THE THRESHOLD features 13 new oil paintings spanning a wide range of archetypal subject matter in the artist’s signature Contemporary Symbolist style. Webber utilizes dozens of sheer layers of pure powdered earth pigments, translucent glazes of resin, encaustic and traditional alchemical processes to produce luminous, light-responsive oil paintings.

Featured within the series is a three painting suite for MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women). Zelo-Jade Rael (Picuris Pueblo) and the artist collaborated to create powerful images that focus attention on the MMIW issue.
