NEW WORK

CROSSING THE THRESHOLD is a new series of 13 oil paintings spanning a wide range of archetypal subject matter in the artist’s signature Contemporary Symbolist style. Webber utilizes dozens of sheer layers of pure powdered earth pigments, translucent glazes of resin, encaustic and traditional alchemical processes to produce luminous, light-responsive oil paintings. Featured within the series is a three painting suite of MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women). Zelo-Jade Rael (Picuris Pueblo) and the artist collaborated to create powerful images that focus attention on the MMIW issue. The artist is offering a Dedicated Edition of 50 archival museum prints, 29” x 18” each, signed and numbered, with 100% of the profit donated directly to support the organization Native Hope and their work for MMIW.
