Special Series of Kundalini Yoga Classes with Gurmukh at Untitled Fine Art in Taos!!

We are so honored and delighted to host the brilliant teacher and beautiful being Gurmukh at our Taos Gallery for a special series of kundalini yoga classes and meditations. I have been working with kundalini yoga since 2000 and have studied with Gurmukh and her husband Gurushabd for many years. During my intensive times in Los Angeles through the years with exhibitions and work, I would regularly practice at Golden Bridge Yoga in both Santa Monica and in Hollywood (now Wanderlust Studios) with both of these phenomenal teachers. These classes were literally some of the most transformative, transcendent and joyous experiences of my life. I also studied at Golden Bridge in New York City whenever I was in town. There is nothing like practicing with world class teachers, (Gurmukh and Gurushabd are some of the best on the planet), in this ancient science and with a group of practitioners who are all cultivating sacred energy together. We are really looking forward to hosting them for this month long series in our downtown gallery space. You are in for a real treat if you can make it to Taos to join one or all of these classes.
The classes are by donation and 100% of the money goes to Micah’s organization Growing Community Now, Farmhouse Café’s sister nonprofit, that gives Taos area kids hands-on experience growing, cooking, and eating fresh food, and has also been working to partner farmers with local schools. and
Please bring your own yoga mats and gear. For more information on Gurmukh’s work, please visit

One of the new paintings in the EMBODIMENT OF LIGHT series is a life size rhino mother and baby. The painting was initiated in 2018 when the last Northern White male rhino died and the species became functionally extinct . It hit me like a ton of bricks. I went into profound shock over this and vowed to do something to bring attention to these magnificent creatures and their primordial wisdom and beauty. Rhinos have thrived on this planet for millions of years. We do not have to lose our keystone species and the myriad less visible species that reside in these ancient and complex habitats. We can mobilize and implement creative ways to coexist on this miracle planet. Humanity is part of the web of life and as we awaken to this, we can course-correct to ensure that our present and future generations will be able to experience the rich diversity of life on this planet. I did a lot of research on which organizations were doing the most for the rhinos in the wild and found Helping Rhinos. I had a third party in the environmental non-profit space work with me to vet the organization and Helping Rhinos is the real deal with 100% of the donations going to directly helping these amazing beings. A branch of their organization that is particularly inspiring is the Black Mambas all female anti-poahcing unit My original painting Continuum is going to be for sale at the annual Helping Rhinos Gala in London in addition to smaller Dedicated Edition archival paper prints. I have chosen to have the proceeds directly benefit the Black Mambas. Here is the listing for the original painting and the prints for the silent auction. There will be a Live Auction at the Gala event in London, UK on 23 October 2021. My original painting and the Dedicated Edition prints are Lot #102 in the silent auction, which is online now here silentauctionUK/helpingrhinos

The painting is a meditation on survival and new life; the scene is unfolding at sunrise and the palette is uplifting and soft, the rhinos are full of vitality as they charge out towards the viewer/future in an unbroken lineage, descended from aeons of ancestors, a Continuum arc of a legacy species. Get involved, this is it! This is our chance to make a difference. Even if you just go to Helping Rhinos and donate $5, please take action. Tell your friends. Thank you!

EMBODIMENT OF LIGHT Exhibition Virtual Tour

The opening and exhibition of EMBODIMENT OF LIGHT was really sweet. Thank you to everyone who made it to the opening reception. The live music by Pardeshi was so lovely and it was great to see old & new friends and host locals and visitors alike. The show was two years of work since I did not have an exhibition in 2020. It was really satisfying to see the whole series together in our beautiful Taos gallery. We had our friend Casey create a 360 Virtual Tour of the exhibition with pop-ups of the paintings for those of you who couldn’t make it to Taos to see the actual show. Here is the link We are planning on opening a group exhibition for Taos Fall Arts 2021 that opens Friday, September 17th, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. More info soon on the group show.

Lioness I 96″ x 72″ rice paper, earth pigments, encaustic, oil on canvas, © Kimberly Webber 2020

Greetings everyone! Hope you all are doing well. Here is a brief update on ENDANGERED Global, new paintings, studio and gallery activity . We are open and welcoming visitors at the main gallery, Untitled Fine Art. 133 Kit Carson Road, Taos and at the print gallery, Untitled Editions, 115 Bent Street, Taos Currently, I am working long hours in the studio on the brand new large oil paintings for the ENDANGERED project. “Lioness” is one of the new paintings for the series. I am working on 8′ black jaguar and 8′ rhino paintings as well as a couple of 6′ snow leopard paintings and three additional smaller originals. Winter in the Rocky Mountains is generally a time that I am deep in the studio process and this year is following the same flow. It is a quiet time of focus and production. The ENDANGERED project is moving forward with an incredibly talented team and now includes music and film elements in addition to the fine art. We’ll see how 2021 lines up for the launch of the physical fine art exhibition. As soon as we have the exhibition details I’ll let you know. I am going to make a point to post regular updates here on my website blog since the social media platforms have become far less appealing recently due to privacy, data, content and security concerns. I would like to continue posting on my IG account, and also have to balance and address privacy issues, so for now, my website seems like the most appropriate place for updates. Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you all a prosperous, healthy and joyous 2021!!

Priestess of Light Oracle Deck Available for Pre-Order

Here is my new hummingbird painting that the ever lovely Alexis modeled for. “Suntelia” is an ancient word about the end of an aeon and the beginning of a new era. Humanity/our world has arrived at a crucible point, as the old world crumbles before our eyes. These last few months have felt like a strange bardo state between worlds. The previous paradigm of society was not sustainable with one species dominating, consuming and destroying the very systems that sustain all life on this miracle planet; voraciously grinding up the ecosystem for greed and profit. A power over paradigm. This can longer go on. The illusion of separation must shift if we are to make this quantum leap forward into a world where all life is respected and honored. Where the Earth has her rights restored, where children all around the world are protected, cherished and encouraged. Where each and every human being has dignity, equality and freedom. Where collaboration replaces competition. This vision for our world is closer than it appears right now. As we individually remove our focus from our differences and instead consciously place our sacred attention (the true currency of life) upon our shared goals and connectivity; health, freedom, compassion, kindness, our love for our families and children, clean air, clean water, clean food and basic dignity for all beings. Respecting and celebrating diversity while embracing our interdependence. As we learn to do this, we shall together truly create a world that works for all. It is possible, and it is closer than it appears during this time of great upheaval. The new “Suntelia” painting focuses on beauty and wonder. The hummingbirds defy logic as they migrate for thousands of miles twice per year. They bring the medicine of strength, perseverance and JOY. They represent ultimate freedom (a hummingbird can never be caged) and the miraculous depth of intelligence, sophistication and elegance of the natural world through their epic migrations upon tiny wings.

Had the incredible honor of being photographed by the legendary Henry Diltz  a few days ago in Los Angeles. We met up at the musuem after my meeting with one of the directors. The weather was beautiful all week in Los Angeles, sunny and cool…and then, out of nowhere a dramatic thunder storm unleashed with lightning and lots of rain during the meeting. The storm passed and Henry arrived with our mutual friend to meet up to snap a few pics. Everything was wet and glistening, a perfect setting for our fun session together. Henry is a true master, he is casual and unpretentious, hanging back and quietly catching candid spontaneous moments. He knows how to draw out his subject in a way that is completely natural and relaxed. I loved working with him.

In Honor of the Bees

Path of the Pollen | 45″ x 28″ rice paper, earth pigments, encaustic, oil on panel

“To Bee or Not to Bee” Group show opens Saturday, November 10th from 4 to 7 pm  at Studio 107B, Taos, New Mexico 87571. Maya Torres is hosting this show at her awesome gallery on Taos Plaza. “Path of the Pollen” is one of 13 in my brand new series for 2018. I’ve been working on this honey bee painting since last year and was delighted when Maya invited me to participate in this show to honor our sacred bee friends. I’ll be in San Francisco for the Ocean’s Call Media Event and Unveiling so I won’t be able to attend the opening at Studio 107B. Maya throws a great party though, so if you’re in Taos this weekend, stop by her beautiful gallery and check out the show! Exhibition through January 2nd, 2019.

Ocean’s Call preview video

Greetings! Here is the short one-minute version documenting the creation of “Ocean’s Call”. Marie Pedersen of Verdant Vue Productions in Los Angeles filmed over the course of 2017 in Taos. She filmed many detailed sequences in the studio, of my Asian European fusion process, and other aspects of my life here in Northern New Mexico; including incredible footage in the mountains and also with the acequia, bees, farming, connection to the land etc. So Ocean’s Call is one small part of the work that we did together. The short 1 minute version shows the process and evolution of this 15′ painting designed to bring awareness to the whales and all life in the oceans. “Ocean’s Call” is finished now and has a sheer beautiful encaustic layers, which minimizes glare and unifies the overall surface in a luscious way. It will be exciting to see where this painting will go. It was a fun project and now it is time for it to go out into the world to inspire dialogue and action for our planet’s oceans. May our oceans thrive in health, diversity, life and beauty forever. Solstice Blessings xo

Oceana Benefit : SeaChange Summer Party July 21st, 2018

Ocean’s Call | 72″ x 180″ rice paper, earth pigments, oil on canvas (c) Kimberly Webber 2018.

The life-size newborn baby humpback whale painting that I have been working on is finally finished. The concept was in my consciousness for a couple of years prior to the actual physical creation of this giant 15′ painting, which took well over a year to complete. I am delighted to announce a fun collaboration with Oceana and their annual gala fundraiser “SeaChange Summer Party” held at a private residence in Laguna Beach, California this July. The link above has details on the auction, venue and event. Details for “Ocean’s Call” can be viewed at Interested collectors, organizations or museums can bid on the original painting online for the next three months, up until the event on July 21st, 2018. The purchase is tax deductible and all proceeds go to Oceana; I am donating 100% of the proceeds from “Ocean’s Call” to support these important conservation efforts for our planetary oceans. From the initial conception of this painting I had envisioned donating the final work to an excellent charity to benefit the oceans. The painting is a response to the myriad challenges facing the oceans and my own deep love for all the ocean’s creatures, especially the whales. Oceana is the largest international ocean conservation and advocacy organization. The Ron Finley Project in Los Angeles invited me to create artwork on a shovel to benefit the amazing Gangsta Gardens. The finished works are being auctioned with all proceeds going towards the urban gardens. I have been a supporter of this project for a few years now, ever since I became aware of the powerful and important work of empowering youth and reclaiming urban spaces for healthy food cultivation and community.  For more info visit

“Return of the Snow Leopard” | 36″ x 58″ earth pigments, encaustic, oil on canvas Kimberly Webber 2016

I saw a commercial run by the World Wildlife Fund last night with the stark facts about the endangered snow leopards. It said that only 6500 leopards remain in the wild and ONE LEOPARD PER DAY IS BEING KILLED BY POACHERS. Humanity *MUST* wake up now and turn this around. We must address the short term solution of stopping the poaching and the longer term solution of wild leopard habitat protection and preservation. Ultimately, what motivates the people (poachers) who trap and kill endangered species is desperation for money. Stopping the illegal trades and demand for these wild animals’ bodies, body parts and skins and changing the consciousness is the key and helping shift the hearts of those compelled to consume and kill these iconic species.  Helping the communities who live near these wild species habitats to have sustainable methods of income to support their families, possibly based on ecotourism and protecting the wildlife in the region, making the connection between conservation and prosperity. When we put our love, care and attention into these issues, nature responds quickly and efficiently with healing and regeneration. I would encourage you to share this video link and information; and to contribute to the WWF snow leopard program. I adopted a snow leopard with a monthly contribution. It is easy and affordable, less than 50 cents per day. Please, do not look away, please take action, share this information and pray for these magnificent creatures to thrive. We have the the chance to turn this around, but we must act now,  for all of Earth’s species and ultimately, for humanity. Thank you.

Humpback Whales, Mermaids and Sharks

Just returned from an amazing journey to Tonga to swim with the humpback whales. It was humbling, extremely heart opening and beyond words beautiful.  I met so many great people on this trip.  I’ll post more later on my own interaction with the whales, still going through the footage and imagery and fully integrating this powerful, life changing experience. I met Hannah Fraser (Hannah Mermaid) and Shawn Heinrichs in Tonga; two artists who are collaborating to create truly next level imagery to bring awareness to what is happening with our oceans. Check out this piece they created, Tears of a Mermaid “Woman Dances with Tigress Sharks” to see some of the most phenomenal, cutting edge visual work on the planet. You can check out Shawn’s organization to get involved in conservation and activism efforts for our planetary oceans.

Early Autumn Studio Update from the Rocky Mountains, New Dates for INVOCATION

Kimberly Webber 2017 screen shot from recent film footage, drone filming session for documentary by Marie Pedersen

Greetings friends! Happy Autumn! It is warm and absolutely gorgeous here in the Rockies and I am deep in my studio process on the new series INVOCATION. There are 12 paintings plus the giant 15′ whale painting in motion now. We had scheduled a late October opening for this new work in Taos, but upon the advice of my gallery director, we have rescheduled the exhibition to open during the magical holiday season in Taos. The new date for the opening reception of INVOCATION is Friday, December 29th, 2017 at Untitled Fine Art in Taos. People travel from all over the world to experience the holidays in Taos and it is a fun time of year for a celebration and opening for this new series. You can call the gallery for more info at 575-758-3969. There will be live music, hors d’oeuvres and champagne. The December date gives me more time to finish this series, several of which are larger 6′ paintings. We are continuing the documentary film project and will announce details on the whale painting ocean charity event soon.  Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you this autumn or winter in beautiful Taos!

New Vision at Sacred Mountain Conference

The New Eyes, New Vision at Sacred Mountain Conference is scheduled for October 19th through October 25th, 2017 at El Monte Sagrado Resort, a couple blocks east of our Taos Gallery on Kit Carson Road in beautiful downtown Taos. I have been asked to lead the group of visionary participants into a meditation through the portal of the archetypes in one of my paintings. We plan to have several original paintings at the conference hall for participants to engage with, including the giant  8′ x 10′  Light Echo diptych. I am also going to be speaking about my role as a Keeper of the Honeybees and their loving message and frequency of unity, healing and abundance . For more info please visit:

New series and documentary film

Greetings everyone and Happy Summer! It is so beautiful here in Taos at this time of year, it is my favorite:) There are 15 new paintings underway in the 2017 series; several large paintings including a life-size baby humpback whale. The whale painting is going to auction later this year for a gala fundraiser event to benefit the oceans. We’ll post more info here as the details unfold. I have also been working with a documentary film maker from Los Angeles who has been here in Taos filming in my studio all week. She and I met in LA during my solo exhibition in February. We are having fun filming and photographing the process and technique. We have a couple more Taos filming sessions planned this year as the series progresses. The photo here is a still screen shot from slow-motion footage of ink and giant antique horse-hair brush markings on a huge 15′ sheet of rice paper. The sequence was captured on film and also via still photography with another talented photographer from LA. So fun!!!

Stand with Standing Rock Taos Benefit

Millions have been watching the situation at Standing Rock unfold throughout 2016. Standing Rock is truly a watershed moment  for not only the US but for all nations, our Planet and All Life.  The Lakota Sioux Tribe is joined by nearly 300 Indigenous Tribes and thousands of peaceful water protectors from all around the world who are gathered to pray for clean water, clean air and to protect our sacred land. This movement was initiated by the youth and by women.  Standing Rock is about all Life, all children, all of our families, present and future generations. It is about our ability as humanity to evolve and transition from fossil fuel to clean energy. It is about shifting our priorities to honoring and protecting Mother Earth and our communal resources. We are transitioning from corporate interests whose bottom line is profit at all costs.  It is time. Thank you to the Lakota Sioux Tribe and Elders, and all of the brave souls who are peacefully gathered and standing to Protect the Sacred. Every single one of our prayers and peaceful actions matters greatly. Your voice matters.  I have donated “Passage” 18″ x 10″, oil on panel version of the original, retail value $900 to the Taos Benefit for Standing Rock. The event takes place on December 11th, 2016 at Taos Mesa Brewing.  Stand With Standing Rock * Water is Life

Summer Solstice/Full Moon/White Tantra

Happy Summer everyone!! What a beautiful and rare occurrence to have the 2016 Summer Solstice and the Full Moon on the same day. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, the last time there was a Full Moon/Summer Solstice on the same day was 70 years ago! We celebrated in Taos with a silent qigong practice as the sun set and the moon rose over the mountains; a divine evening. I woke up predawn yesterday and joined the White Tantra Summer Solstice Kundalini Sadhana gathering up in the high desert mountains of Espanola. It was my first White Tantra immersion and it was powerful, challenging and highly transformative. I absolutely loved it! I began practicing yoga as a young adult in 1993, and have been practicing Kundalini yoga since 2000. I resonate deeply with Kundalini, it remains my favorite lineage of yogic science. With the planetary alignments, the time on the Earth and all other factors combined, the practice of sitting with 1000+ other yogis/yoginis doing kriyas, chanting mantras all day in the remote mountain desert was perfect medicine, filling my soul with profound love, gratitude and light. Together we broke through major subconscious blockages, burned through the dross and seriously amplified healing energy for humanity and the planet. Not a bad way to spend the day!! Now back to the studio, so excited about this new body of work. Diving into deep flow of the pure joy of creation of this series. We are still planning to open the exhibition at the end of the year around the holidays at the Taos gallery. Many blessings to you all xo

Initiation/Studio update

Back in the studio after incredibly magical spring journeys to Europe, NYC and the west coast. Fully immersed in the beautiful vibe in Taos and the emerging green life-force energy at the Ranchos studio and compound. So much gratitude for all of it and for all of you:) Having fun creating this new body of work, it is progressing smoothly and I am enjoying diving deeper into the shamanic aspect of this series and the messages/gifts of the medicine animals, birds and archetypes. Continuing to anchor in the new earth frequencies through the alchemical creation of the paintings and meditation practice, sacred sound current work with other practitioners as well community qigong and kundalini practices. We have decided to open the new exhibition INITIATION (working title) in Taos in December this year before the work travels to other cities/countries. Details will be posted here in the next few months. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Spring/Summer!

Happy Valentine’s Day

May we cultivate and open heart coherence within so that our world may be illumined with true love, healing and peace. As we align with the infinite love within,  so appears love all around us. Blessed Be!

Deep Winter in the Rocky Mountains

Greetings and happy wishes for a great 2016 to all! I am deep in the studio working on the new series, there are many images coming through asking to be manifested into the 3D. The new work is intensely shamanic with compelling animal and bird medicine accompanying the archetypes. Fun!!! More soon! Many blessings and much gratitude xo

Art Basel Miami Beach

Just returned from a fun week in Miami at the premiere international art fair Art Basel Miami Beach. Wow, what an array of world class contemporary artwork. There are a plethora of parallel fairs including NADA and Untitled Art Fair plus a vast selection of art related events around the city all week.  Highlights for me included White Cube’s presentation of 6′ x 6′ An Improvisation by Taos Artist Larry Bell in the Design District and an opening night lecture with the artist by Serpentine Gallery’s Hans Ulrich Obrist; “Unrealism” an exhibition of contemporary figurative work curated by Larry Gagosian and Jeffrey Deitch across the street from Larry’s exhibition and a morning lecture/salon with Jenny Holzer and Trevor Paglen at Art Basel. Also, was happy to be able to check out the Rubell Family Collection’s exhibition of 100 women artists titled “No Man’s Land” this morning on the way to the airport It was a non-stop week of events and phenomenal art.
